Dr. Craig Silverman earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, and completed his residency at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He has worked at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center for 21 years. He is a full-time professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology for the University of Louisville, Vice Chairman for Patient Care, and he serves as Co-Director for the Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Clinic
Dr. Silverman is a board-certified radiation oncologist whose main research interest is in head and neck cancer. He is involved in numerous RTOG protocols, has co-authored and published multiple manuscripts, and has served on numerous committees for the university. Dr. Silverman is a member of (ASTRO) American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
